  • For those applying for a driver's license for the first time, you must complete and submit an application to obtain a provisional (learner's) permit. Obtain the application form from the License Department (Inland Revenue) or at any District Revenue Office/Police Station.
  • Prepare one identification document that will accompany your Medical Certificate issued by a Registered Doctor.
  • Present all documents to a police officer for approval.
  • Pay the $50.00 application fee.
  • Collect the Learner's Permit card from the License Department of Inland Revenue.
  • Practice your practical driving skills and pass the exams.
  • Pay all necessary fees.
  • Collect you driving license.
  • Obtain an application form from the Licence Department (Inland Revenue) or any District Revenue Office/Police Station.
  • Submit the completed form along with your identification (National ID card, NIS card, Passport, or Birth Certificate) and Medical Certificate from a Registered Doctor
  • Present All documents to a police officer for approval.
  • Pay the $50 application fee.
  • Collect your Learner's Permit card at the Licence Department (Inland Revenue).
  • Completed application
  • Identification (any of the following):
    • National ID card.
    • NIS card
    • Passport
    • Certificate
  • Medical certificate
